Dr. Perley is Associate Professor of Anthropology at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His interests include:″ Linguistic Anthropology - language ideology, language endangerment, and language revitalization; theory and methodology of anthropological linguistics; history of theory; ″ Visual Anthropology - graphic ethnography (theory and method); ″ Indigeneity - aesthetics, self-representation, and new media; ″ American Indian Studies - repatriation, self-determination, and ethnocosmogenesis
