Evelyn Galban

Clinical Assistant Professor & Chief of Neurology and Neurosurgery

Dr. Galban is a graduate of Cornell University CALS (’98), the Graduate School (’02), and the Veterinary School (’06). She completed a rotating small animal internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital and a residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the School of Veterinary Medicine at University of Pennsylvania, achieving Diplomat status in 2012. Looking for the best fit of talent and skill, she has returned to Penn Vet as Section Chief and Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurology and Neurosurgery and as the Director of House Officers. Her interests include creating SMART Neuro combining technology and medicine, developing minimally invasive brain and spinal cord surgical techniques, and comparative neurology (aka Zoo Neuro). In her spare time she founded the Native American Veterinary Association and is working to find new members everyday.
