Teaching Assistants

The American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program (AIISP) has Teaching Assistants for American Indian and Indigenous Studies (AIIS) introductory courses. These TA's are qualified graduate students who are enrolled in the AIIS Graduate Field Minor and serve the program by undertaking teaching responsibilities in AIIS courses for one or two semesters in the Fall and Spring. Below are the two courses they TA for:

  • AIIS 1100- Introduction to American Indian and Indigenous Studies I: Indigenous North America
  • AIIS 1110: Introduction to American Indian and Indigenous Studies II: Indigenous Issues in Global Perspectives
